A house, even a custom built home, has several distinctive aspects that have each a series of particular characteristics. Some of those aspects can be rooms inside the house, like the kitchen or bathroom, or they can be something more general, like the exterior and the interior. The kitchen and bathroom can be so much more than just utilitarian spaces, and can be designed and decorated so as to not truncate, but flow with the rest of the building.
